SharePoint For the NID-HCA Housing Counseling Program

We would like to introduce you to one of Microsoft's popular corporate tools, 
Windows SharePoint Services. This tool will help us stay connected and productive 
by providing easy access to information, such as:

• Documents: Forms and Procedures
• Calendar of Events
• Team Discussions
• Program Report Submittals
• Counselor Folders
• Announcements

In this portal you will find all of the forms and procedures you need for
counseling, reporting, navigating Home Counseling Online (HCS), and staying abreast
of upcoming trainings and events as well as industry announcements. You will also
have access to post questions to the NID-HCA counselors network and add events to
the calendar.

SharePoint will also house virtual, secured, and personalized folders which will
allow you to exchange files with the National Office more conveniently. Your folder
will store confidential documents such as counselor agreements and you will have the
ability to download documents and post them once again into your folder.
